Baptism is the first sacrament of the Church and is the beginning of a life in Christ. Through Baptism, we are welcomed into God’s family, freed from original sin, and begin our journey of faith within the Catholic Church.
Baptism Preparation Classes are offered every two months for parents and godparents who are preparing to welcome a child into the Church through the Sacrament of Baptism.
Each baptism class consists of two sessions, designed to help families understand the meaning of baptism, the responsibilities of parents and godparents, and the importance of raising a child in the Catholic faith. These sessions provide time for reflection, learning, and discussion in a welcoming and supportive environment.
The next Baptism preparation sessions will be held in:
- July 7th & 14th
- September 8th & 15th
- November 10th & 17th
If you are expecting a child or have a child who has not yet been baptized, we encourage you to plan ahead and attend one of these classes.
*Classes are intended only for registered and active parishioners of St. Anne Parish.
At St. Anne, Baptisms are celebrated:
• 2nd Saturday of the month — Bilingual
• 3rd Sunday of the month — English
• 4th Sunday of the month — Spanish

El Bautismo es el primer sacramento de la Iglesia y el comienzo de una vida en Cristo. Por medio del Bautismo, somos recibidos en la familia de Dios, liberados del pecado original y comenzamos nuestro camino de fe dentro de la Iglesia Católica.
Las clases de preparación para Bautismo se ofrecen cada dos meses para padres y padrinos que se están preparando para recibir a un niño en la Iglesia por medio del Sacramento del Bautismo.
Cada clase de Bautismo consiste en dos sesiones, diseñadas para ayudar a las familias a comprender el significado del Bautismo, las responsabilidades de los padres y padrinos, y la importancia de criar a un niño en la fe católica. Estas sesiones ofrecen un tiempo de reflexión, aprendizaje y diálogo en un ambiente acogedor y de apoyo.
Las próximas sesiones de preparación para Bautismo serán:
7 y 14 de julio
8 y 15 de septiembre
10 y 17 de noviembre
Si usted está esperando un bebé o tiene un hijo que aún no ha sido bautizado, le animamos a planear con tiempo y asistir a una de estas clases.
En St. Anne, los Bautismos se celebran:

• 3er Domingo del mes — inglés
• 4to Domingo del mes — español
