Sacraments


Baptism

A one-time class for parents and parents-to-be to instruct them about the Sacrament of Baptism, and how the parent(s) should prepare for this sacrament.  All parents are required to take this class if they wish to have their baby baptized at St. Anne's. The class is held at 10:00 AM on the second Saturday of the month in the Blue Room of the parish office building.  Adults wishing to be baptized should look to RCIA Religious Education to prepare for this sacrament.

1st Communion

 

The sacrament of 1st Communion is given in the second grade for children that attend St. Anne's school or PSR Religious Education.  Adults prepare for this sacrament through RCIA Religious Education


Confirmation

Those interested in receiving the sacrament of Confirmation must be in 10th-12th grade and attending Religious Education classes. Adults prepare for this sacrament through RCIA Religious Education.


Reconciliation

The sacrament of Reconciliation is offered every Saturday from 3:30 to 4:30 PM in the church and other times by appointment.  Special reconciliation services are also offered at different times of the year such as Advent and Lent and will be announced in the bulletin and at Mass.


Marriage

Please consult Fr. Leland at least six months before the intended date of the marriage.  Whenever a couple begins to think seriously about marriage, we strongly urge them to make an Engaged Encounter. Call the office for details.


Anointing of
the Sick

The right of Anointing is offered to anyone who has a serious illness, health problems, upcoming surgery, etc. Please call Fr. Leland to make an appointment for this sacrament.
