ALTAR SOCIETY |
Our mission is to be welcoming to all women of the parish committed to prayer, friendship and service working together to provide for the needs of our parish. We meet on the second Tuesday each month in Setter Hall with the exception of June, July and August. Social time begins at 6:30p.m., with the program and business meeting follow at 7:00p.m. |

DAY GUILD |
The purpose of the Day Guild is friendship, fun, and service to St. Anne, and to give support to the St. Anne Altar Society for its activities. We attend Mass at 8:10am, followed by a meeting in Setter Hall monthly. We do not meet in June, July or August. | |

|
FUNERAL DINNERS PREPARE/SERVE |
St. Anne Altar Society prepares and serves meals for the families of deceased parishioners. Volunteers help serve or provide occasional donations of dessert or salad. Don’t miss an opportunity to assist in this good work. | |

|
HARVEST HOUSE
|
A group for senior adults age 55 and older. Membership is open to younger adults if retired and to both spouses, even if one does not meet the age requirement. Harvest House seeks to help older adults make their retirement years a rewarding experience by using this stage of life in a constructive way as they utilize and appreciate their well-deserved leisure. St. Anne’s Harvest House meets once a month on the 2nd Thurs. at 1PM in Setter Hall. We also get together the 1st Sunday of the month at 8:30am Mass followed by coffee and doughnuts in Setter Hall. A covered dish dinner is also scheduled the 4th Thursday of the month. | |

HOUSE SITTING FOR FUNERALS |
Harvest House also has a home sitting service for families who have lost a loved one. We will house sit while you are at the rosary or the funeral. | |

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS |
It’s a Catholic family, fraternal and service organization dedicated to the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism. They support our parish. It’s an honor to be a Knight. |

|
LORD’S DINER |
The Lord’s Diner, a not-for-profit soup kitchen operated by the community, for the community, and sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Wichita, provides an evening meal seven days a week, 365 days a year. It seeks to achieve this goal in a spirit of compassion, respect, and loving service through cooperative efforts with churches, individuals, and organizations. The Lord’s Diner relies on volunteers and their gift or time and talent to achieve their mission of “Responding to Christ’s call to feed the hungry.” To become a volunteer you must first obtain a Food Handler’s Card. Please call the Health Department at 268-8351 for class dates and times. Kids must be 13 or older. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. |

MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER
|
For married couples of the parish, Marriage Encounter is probably the best ministries within the Church. A good marriage is one of the most important factors for happiness and is key for the children in the family. Give your marriage some time and effort and you will find that gift returned many times over. |

MEALS ON WHEELS (Weekend Delivery) |
The delivery of meals consists of taking a cold sack lunch, and a hot meal to each recipient on a list of seven routes throughout the city of Wichita. The meals are delivered on weekends to people who are destitute and confined to their homes, and some who don’t have anybody to look after them. This usually takes one to one and a half hours of your time, 9:30AM to 11AM. |

BOY SCOUTS |
Boy Scouts of America is a quality organization for young men
between the ages of 11 and 18. St. Anne Parish is the chartering organization for Boy Scout Troop 810. Each level of scouting is designed to build character, develop attitudes of good citizenship, and encourage personal fitness. Our year-round scouting program is designed to help strengthen families, cultivate a sense of personal achievement by developing new interests, and build spiritual growth through reverence toward God. |

CUB SCOUTS |
Cub Scouting provides adventure and fun for boys in the first through fifth grades. St. Anne Parish is the chartering organization for Cub Scout Pack 810. GIRL SCOUT |
There are 8 Girl Scout Troops currently at St. Anne’s from kindergarten through 8 th grade. Girl Scouting is dedicated to the purpose of inspiring girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism and service so that they may become happy and resourceful citizens. |

RESPECT LIFE COMMITTEE |
St. Anne Respect Life Committee educates the parish on all current and upcoming issues and events that pertain to respect for human life. The Committee also gives the parish an opportunity to become active in life issues. This would include praying, sidewalk counseling and connecting with compassion organizations that offer support to women or families with a crisis pregnancy. In addition, this committee helps connect women who have been touched by the trauma of abortion with a trained counselor to begin the healing process. Meetings are held on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 7:00pm in the Blue Room. |

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY |
An organization meant to help people in need when called upon. The type of help that is provided can consist of assisting with basic needs such as food and in certain circumstances, housing and utility needs. An emphasis is placed on personal contact in helping those in need. We meet every fourth Monday of the month, except when Holidays fall on or near that day. We discuss past actions taken and future plans. We collect food from the box in the back of the Church to put in our food pantry and give to those in need. We also have a poor box at the back of the church for donations or checks can be put in the weekly collection payable to St. Vincent de Paul. The weekend Meals On Wheels delivery program is organized and scheduled by our organization for volunteers in eleven different parishes. Parish volunteers are the backbone of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. |

WEDDING RECEPTIONS |
Teams of ladies set up and assist at the celebrations of the parishioners, both as a service and as a fundraiser for the St. Anne Altar Society. Volunteers are always needed. |
