Extended Day Program
The Extended Day Program is always striving to provide the best care possible for your children.   We really work hard to insure that your child will have a safe and enjoyable experience.  We enjoy watching your children grow and hope that this program is helpful to all of you.
 
The program is available to all students enrolled in St. Anne School (K –8).  It will begin with the first full day of school.  We will provide a snack after 4:30 p.m., as well as a combination of free play and structured study time.  We will charge a non-refundable $10.00 registration fee per family.  On Noon Dismissal and Faculty Meeting day there will NOT be any care provided.  For the safety of the students, all students who are still on St. Anne’s property after 3:25 p.m. will be sent to the Extended Day Program, and parents will receive a bill accordingly.
 
Morning Program   (7:00 a.m. – 7:40 a.m.)
Students enter the elementary building by the north doors and proceed down to the lunchroom.  Students will be released at 7:40 to their classrooms.  Students who arrive before 7:00 a.m. will be charged $1.00 per minute.
 
Afternoon Program   (3:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.)
Students will enter the Activity Center Foyer and proceed to the gym.  Students will stay in the gym or go to the playground if weather permits.  At 4:30 p.m., everyone will go upstairs to the latchkey room and receive a snack and drink.  Parents who are late (after 5:30 p.m.) picking up their child will be charged $1.00 per minute.  An employee will wait with the child until the parent arrives.
We want everyone who is in the program to feel that he/she is safe.  In order to accomplish this, we must have student expectations and specific rules and consequences for inappropriate behavior.  Please review these rules with your child before coming to the program.
 
Expectations of Students
 
1.      Follow all the rules.
2.      Must check in with the employee when arriving.
3.      Notify the employee when leaving.
4.      Be responsible for book bag and other personal items. (Extended Day Program is not responsible for the breakage or loss of items brought from home.)
5.      Put your uniform in your book bag if you changed your clothes.
 
Rules for Extended Day Program
                                                              
1.     Respect other students and employees
2.     No touching, grabbing, pushing, or kicking other students
3.     No kicking the balls (inside the gym)
4.     No shooting baskets from half court
5.     No foul language or profanity
6.     Must ask an employee to use the restroom
7.     Must stay in the gym at all times/ no one is allowed to sit in the foyer
8.     Must stay in the selected boundaries when outside
9.     No sitting above the third step on the stairs/bleachers
10.   No hanging on the stair railing
11.   No climbing on top of the bleachers
12.   Return the balls when told to do so
13.   When upstairs, must be quiet for the first 30 minutes for study time
         (exception on Fridays)
14.   No buying pop
15.   No cell phones
16.   No trading cards
17.   No balls from home
18.   If eating, must sit and eat, then throw the trash away
19.   No chewing gum

BILLING AND PAYMENT

All payments are due monthly.  The bill will be sent home on a Tuesday and will be due on the following Monday.  The school calendar will post the dates for each month that the bill is due.  It is imperative your account is cleared each month, as that is the revenue we use to pay the employees. Please make your monthly payments when they are due.

LATE FEES

A late fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged after 5:30 PM and before 7:00AM (even though the teacher is in the building, “Extended Day Program” does not start until 7:00AM).

A $10.00 late fee will be accessed if payment is not made on time.  If payment is late and is still not paid by the next Monday, your child will not be allowed to use the Extended Day Program, until payment is made in full.

 
REGISTRATION FEE

There is a non-refundable registration fee of $10.00 per family.  If you did not sign up for the program at registration, but later used the program, you will be charged the registration fee on your bill.  I will not charge a registration fee if your child first attends the program during the months of April or May.
